Now, I have never been the biggest food enthusiast – food is merely a form of energy and it is supposed to postpone your hunger for a few hours until it’s the time to eat again. One of this year’s challenges is to tweak that attitude a bit.
I cannot really say that I should change it (I don’t think you can ever become a food enthusiast if that’s not in your blood). Because of my lack of enthusiasm towards food, my recipe book has included only a handful of recipes over the years. Today, I took upon a new challenge – carrot soup! And I must say, I was pleasantly surprised! I also happened to bake some ‘tea bread’ to go with the soup. If you’re interested, I’d love to share the recipe!
