Good morning peeps! Yes, I acknowledge it is Wednesday and that I am doing this on the actual day (yay for me) but it is time to go over the progress of the last week… Are you ready?
The past week has definitely been unusual. On Wednesday, I went to an amusement park after which R took me for a 3-course meal in a restaurant. On Friday, I was eating burgers and consuming adult beverages. The rest of the week, I have been eating pasta more or less every day. I have properly exercised once (pilates, my good ol’ friend).
However, being a student and living in the Netherlands (I am not sure which one is more important factor), I cycle everywhere. I have also started to take the stairs as much as possible. You may have figured out by now that I live quite high up in the block of flats. A month ago, I promised myself to walk up the stairs at least once a day and I can definitely see the improvement: the first time around, I was holding onto the railing as if my life depended on it. I am definitely not claiming that it was easy nowadays but at least I can walk up on my own at least 5 flights of stairs before my heart starts to race! As a conclusion, apart from pilates, my exercises are mainly passive activity but for now, it is working for me…
What I have noticed also is the way changing dining rhythm has had an impact: I used to skip breakfast, eat a big lunch and even bigger dinner because by then I was starving… Guess what the change has been?
