I am Fine. Well actually my name is Hanna but my friends back in England gave me my new name.
I am a Finn, a friend, a sister and a daughter. I live in the Netherlands and dream of great adventures. And now, I would like to invite you on a journey with me.
There are three things you can expect from me and this blog:
- There will be a story every day. Now, I cannot promise it will be a long but I will be posting every day in the year 2016. “But why?”, you may ask and I will answer: to have a place for the Project 366. I used to be very keen on photography and, recently, I have rediscovered my love for it. Although the quality may be questionable, I thought it would be nice to challenge myself to take a photo every day and also see if I have gotten any better at it by the end of the year. You can read more about my project here.
- le Tour de Cafe. My boyfriend and I drink coffee. And with that mean I mean ridiculous amounts (I am Finnish and he is Dutch, what did you expect?)! As I am a lover of beautiful places and he is picky about his drinks, we started the hunt for the best cafe in the world. Starting small, we are currently touring the Netherlands but maybe we will end up in Portland some day – the promised land of hipster coffee heads. If you know a cafe that we should visit, send me a message! And if you want to know where we have been to so far, click here.
- Last but not least, this blog is full of stories from my life… Not only am I taking photos but I also want to write. Telling stories behind all those pictures. I may not be the next Jane Austin or Dorothea Lange but I know my own story. You could see this as more of a trip inside of my head: some days I may want to share slightly more intimate stories than others. This includes stories about travelling, life as an expat as well as an up-and-coming city gardener. Only time will tell what this little safe haven of mine will turn into…
I hope you are as excited about this as I am. Feel free to roam around, have a look and message me with ideas for posts! I would love to hear from you! 🙂
